@Spirit, I think anyone can be a valentine and make it what they choose to make it. It doesn't have to be someone your dating, or romantically interested in. It could be a platonic relationship that just wants to express their joy, happiness, and care for another person. But that's my take on it, I've learned over the years. More so recently in the past few months that people can be quite fickle, and sometimes we get hurt and endure pain for the most asinine reasons. Yet, through it all in the end it works out and we are that much of a better person.

voice mail#3 was from a good friend who, while I adore her is to sweet to tell someone off, crying to me about how her BF forgot completely about valentines/anniversary (they are within a few days of each other)

voice mail#4 was someone screaming at me to pick up the phone... Still haven't figure out if it was male or female....

and the other 3 or so I didn't listen too....

2010-03-02 [wicked fae mage]: There are some of people who had no problems leaving other than being told that they are corrupted by the outside world and blah blah blah, and there are some who tell stories of the higher-ups getting violent when they are still there.

Overall the horror stories start with they take your car and all of your belongings and you don't get it back they write it off as charity. And they pick out people who are depressed, outcasts or who don't seem to think for themselves. You're not allowed to be with somebody without everybody else's consent. So they hold meetings to discuss that, but most of the time people use the sex shack as a way to get away from other people. Children born on their farms are treated better than outsiders because they aren't corrupted. The club members who aren't with one of the higher ups sleep in shacks and eat whatever they manage to farm. Their leader eventually sings (and it is reported that she sucks at singing) and you have to enjoy it. The higher ups spend their days in a nice home from what appears to be a ranch-style house playing World of Warcraft. Your entire stay you are not allowed any outside contact. When you leave you get none of your things back...except your dignity.
